Photo cards are of various kinds and for different reasons. The photos which are on the cards have to be taken according to what they have to portray as the backgrounds are symbolic. Photo cards which are sent as announcement of a new arrival have the baby’s picture on it and for those who live too far to come and see the baby this is a good way of having a look at it. Similarly wedding pictures of the couple are also put on photo cards to thank those who have attended it. There are sad occasions which have photo cards like memorial services for the departed, where the person’s photo is put on the invitation card to the service.
